Marikit Park is situated at the center of Olongapo City, this park is ideal for the children and young at heart who simply wants to have a relaxation. The city of Olongapo acquired from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) bodies of jet planes left behind by the U. S. Navy and preserved the same for their historical and heritage value to the city. One of them is this R-A5 Vigilante which now serves as the landmark at the main entrance of Marikit Park, along Rizal Avenue.
