If you heard the word Bohol which is located in Visayas what comes on your mind first is the famous and also included the 7 wonders of the Philippines, Chocolate Hills. You will also remember the man-made forest of Bohol and the famous animal in this province, the tarsier. Bohol is one of the famous tourist destinations in the Philippines where travelers and tourist love to visit this province because of the beauty of their beaches.
This guide is from Cagayan de Oro to Bohol specifically from Jagna to Tagbilaran. Last April 2019 we went to Bohol to attend a friend’s wedding. We’ve been in Bohol multiple times already with my wife which our first trip here is around 2007, but this time it’s different because together with us is our children. This is the first time that our children visit Bohol and the second province in the Visayas area. Bohol is the 7th province that our eldest visits and the 5th province of our youngest.

Little Knowledge About Jagna
Jagna is considered as the gateway portal to Mindanao. The Island of Camiguin, with the silhouette of Mt. Hibok-Hibok, is visible. Trips to Camiguin are done by large outrigger boats. Large ferries and cargo ships dock at the port from other islands. At present though, only trips from Mindanao, specifically from Butuan, Nasipit, and Cagayan de Oro, are available.
The Jagna Seaport is located on the southern coast of Bohol, about 63 kilometers east of Tagbilaran City. The port is part of Jagna town a 4th class municipality of the province with a population of more or less 32,000 people spread in 33 barangays.
