Seven Seas Adventure Park and Resort
Seven Seas Adventure Park and Resort is the newest summer attraction in Cagayan de Oro right now. 2017 of October the seven seas is formally open the doors to the public to experience the crazy slides. When seven seas open to the public, more and more people got interested to visit the new tourist attraction in Cagayan de Oro to experience wildest and craziest water slides in Northern Mindanao. Because of the excitement of this 7 seas waterpark bring lots of people are being intrigued by this wonderful summer attraction in Mindanao which is the first world-class water theme park.
Seven seas are located at Zone 1 Road, Opol, Misamis Oriental 20 minutes away from City. They open from 9 AM to 5 PM every day but you can purchase your ticket by 8 am. For the ticket rates of Seven Seas Park please check the image below.
Seven Seas Experienced
Our experience @ Seven Seas is really good and awesome when we visit and experienced their facilities. They have unique and thrilling slides in this water theme park such as the Cannon Ball Run, Cutlass, Pacific Reef, Cyclone which should be accompanied by 4 people and the First in the Philippines the almost 90 Degrees Plank Drop! Aside from that, they have Riptide Reef, Escape Tunnel, and Pira-Chute.
If you have kids and love to swim at the same relax then you should consider this seven seas into your list.
Seven Seas Wave Pool
The 7 seven seas water theme park has also wave pool for 2 minutes and with an interval of 30 minutes before the next wave comes. They have also 2 David Jones Locker to keep your valuables safe if cost 50 Pesos per locker for 1 day. One near the entrance and the second one is near the Captain Kidd’s Hide Out.
Guide on How to go in Seven Seas
Actually, there is no Jeepney route going to Seven seas and vice versa but there are options of transportation to consider going to 7 seas.
- If you are from the East side of the City, you can ride these Jeep routes on their signboards, Iponan, Opol or Bulua.
- You can drop off @ crossing of Bulua or in the Bulua Elementary School (the landmark is the overpass and you can see Jollibee)
- You need to cross the the over a pass and you can see the Habal Habal Alley. From there you can ask them to accompany you going to Seven seas and it cost you around 70 pesos to 80 pesos.
- If you don’t have a car going home don’t worry because around 5 pm there is a motorized alley outside 7 seas to bring you at the national highway and it will cost you around 30 pesos to 50 pesos.
- But if you have a good budget and to avoid hassle to maximized your time going to seven seas you can ride a taxi, which it will cost you around Php150 to Php200 one way. (The taxi rate looks expensive because of the re-calibration of the taximeter.
Need to know about Seven Seas
Below are some other things about the resort that you will find useful if you visit the place:
- Bringing food inside the resort is strictly prohibited; they will be confiscated at the entrance
- Proper swimming attire is required; cotton and garments with zipper also are not allowed when taking the slides
- Camera (e.g. DSLR, point and shoot, action cam) is not allowed when taking the slides
- Some slides are not allowed for children
- Lockers are available for your valuables at 50 pesos each
- Fast-food chain, restaurants are available inside the resort at reasonable prices
- Taking the Cyclone slide requires 4 persons; however, if you are alone, you can ask another group to join you in (there are those who come in the pair or three’s)
- Even if you don’t take the rides and only use the swimming pools you still pay the weekday rate or weekend rate.
- They don’t reserve tickets online you only have to buy the tickets there.
- It’s optional to rent a cottage/cabana (Rates are 600 for 6 to 8 persons, Php700 for a group of 10, Php900 for 12 pirates)
