Birthday Celebration Adventure
Time flies so fast, Kuya Eli is celebrating his 6 birthday today April 1, 2021, so we decided to have some fun. He keeps saying that he would love to go zip line again since the last time we did it last Christmas Day December 25, 2020, at Dahilayan Adventure Park. You can check out the video here for our Family bonding adventure. Dahilayan is located at Brgy. Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich. By the way, we stayed at Dahilayan Garden.
We keep asking him what we are going to do on his birthday and he keeps saying to go zip line. So fast forward, to a day before his birthday, we went to Dahilayan Adventure Park to grant his birthday wish, to ride again the zip line. We only ride the 320-meter and 150-meter zip lines which the rate is 250 pesos. Maybe soon we will try the 840 meters but for now, because I know he is not qualified for the longest zip line due to his age and weight for this Dual longest zip line in Asia. The 320 meters and 150 meters are the perfect fit for family bonding if you have toddlers that start at the age of 2 years old.
Activities and Adventures We Did at Dahilayan
- Play at their children’s parks after our lunch.
- Watch feed fish at their pond.
- Ride Lodge where all of us is our first time.
- Then the last adventure we made on that day was to ride the zip line as the birthday boy with it.

Hidden Creek Ranch
A perfect place for team building because of its big space. The rent of their cottage is 2,500 per night good for 4 persons with 2 beds and 1 comfort room.
The peaceful environment that the ranch provides is basically what people are looking for, especially nowadays when the city is very crowded and polluted. It’s such a wonderful place to breathe some fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature!
After our activities, the next morning we left around 11 AM at Hidden Creek Ranch to go to our next popular tourist spot in Libona Bukidnon, the Chellys’ Restaurant. It’s around 3-5 minutes away from Hidden Creek Ranch. Chellys’ Restaurant is located in Kiliog in Libona, Bukidnon, the restaurant is known for its beautiful scenery and Instagrammable place together with the delicious foods that they serve to their customers. Their best seller is the “suha cake”, suha is also known as grapefruit. We just ate our lunch here and ordered their best seller cake which is the Suha Cake.
We stayed for a while because the place is very relaxing and cold due to the trees around it.
After lunch, we decided to go home via Indahag-Libona road wherein around 20-30 minutes of travel time to Cagayan de Oro from Chelly restaurant. But wait there’s more, upon following the Indahag-Libona road going home we notice this Farm of Sunflowers at Libona Bukidnon. It’s also easy to locate being right near Kinawe National High School along the Indahag-Libona Road. Once you reach the school, slow down as the farm is more or less around 150 meters after the school if you’re coming from Libona on the left side. The farm isn’t that big but the giant sunflowers really attract attention. Benches are placed for visitors and they have an entrance of 50 pesos.
What to expect at Sunflower Farm
- Entrance fee of 50 pesos for adults to children
- In exchange for your 50 pesos entrance fee, you buy it for their root craft, vegetables, and fruits.
- You can find big sunflowers on the farm.
- Flowers with different colors
- And a perfect place also for your eyes to see lots of color green.
