This Malacanang ti Amianan is a birthday gift of the first lady on the 60th birthday of her husband Ferdinand Marcos. Marcos era, the first family was called the “Royal Family” and with this era. Malacañang of the North is one of the most popular houses among all 29 houses that they have on the 5-hectare property.

After the Marcos Regime ended, the Malacañang of the North was transformed into a museum. January 1, 2011, finally opened to the public after restorations and renovations and managed by the Department of Tourism.

With its sprawling expanse, this imposing mansion is intricately designed and resembles a 19th-century Bahay na Bato. With a mix of Spanish and Ilocano architecture, the end product is, in a word, majestic. Its best feature is the view. The mansion is the perfect spot to see the beautiful Paoay Lake.

The Malacanang of the North is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will only need to pay 30 pesos for entrance for adults and 10 pesos for children.
