We love to travel with our families. in fact, we celebrated the 7th birthday of our son last April 2022 at Luna Graciano A-Frame house. Luna Graciano A-FRAME HOUSE is a new resthouse located along Route 955 in Sitio, Civoleg, Brgy  Haruhay, Lunotan Gingoog City.

Also, we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days at Camp Aryahorst to celebrate our 2021 year-end. Very cold weather during the afternoon and always fog. You have a view of Mount Lumot and Mount Balatukan in this area. Camp AryaHorst is located at Sitio Civoleg, Brgy Lunotan, Gingoog City.

This month of June 2022 we explored again and visited the cold place of Claveria, but this time we are celebrating our 9-year wedding anniversary. We have an advanced booking of Camp Zion Claveria where we really like the view and place of this campsite.

Claveria right now is the newest travel and tourist destination in Misamis Oriental. They developed the place so that the people who live in the City will love it. Other tourist attraction is not part of Claveria but they are along Route 955 which is Claveria Road.

We are not yet done exploring the cold and beautiful place of Claveria. Recently, we visited and stayed overnight at one of the private Campsites of Claveria Misamis Oriental. I am talking about the Camp Zion camping site which they are located in Panampawan, Claveria, Misamis Oriental Philippines.

Camp ZION is a private and exclusive campsite on top of a mountain. They offer the pure experience of camping in the rawness of nature while being secure and having all the necessities afforded by civilization.

You are going to like this place if you love nature and look for a home away from the crowded city. Camp Zion Claveria is also an Instagramable place because of its green grass and leaves around the campsite.

Camp ZION provides you with full immersion in the outdoors, especially at night when darkness covers all of the surrounding terrains, making it illuminated only by moonlight. There is nothing to fear, however, as the campsite has solar lights and a generator set to last you through nights. And in the morning, you’ll be greeted by the chilly mountain fog, so bring a blanket!
Not just the adult or those nature lovers will enjoy the campsite of Camp Zion but also the kids because they have a playground for your kids to play around. They have a big space for your children to run or to play inside Camp Zion.

Your tranquil camping experience can be elevated even further with their kawa bath and bonfire area. Nothing is more relaxing than dipping in a hot bath or staying nice and toasty near a fire and gazing lazily at the lush mountains and the huge fields of green below you. I’m getting sleepy already!

How To Go Camp Zion Claveria

The travel time from Cagayan de Oro to Camp Zion Claveria is almost 2 hours, it depends on the traffic going to the place.

• Coming from Claveria Proper along Route 955, turn left just before Jaco’s and take the road towards Brgy Panampawan.
• Camp Zion is right after the Barangay Proper.
• It’s 2 KM more from the entrance of Brgy Panampawan before you get to reach the Camp Zion Camping site.

The road is all-weather and gravel type but accessible by all kinds of vehicles. Even if it rains, the road is passable by all kinds of vehicles.

Amenities

For Payag you can have these amenities worth P8,000

• Exclusive overnight stay at the Payag room and tents. Beddings are provided. – Payag has 5 tents inside and it is good for 10 people.
• Comfort Room with shower
• Use of hammocks and relaxing chairs – This is beside the Payag where you will enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Balatukan while having your coffee.
• Outdoor picnic tables and chairs – They have 2 picnic tables.
• Bonfire
• Dining Area
• Kitchen with utensils, outdoor cooking, and grilling areas – They have this in Payag, just bring the food to cook.
• 2 gallons of purified water for drinking and cooking.
• Use of the 2 big Kawa. – This is free if you avail of the Payag package. This is 250 per person if you only visit the place or you are just staying at their A-Frame House.
