Currently, there are no travels taking place; however, Travel Ta Bai is excited to announce its attendance at the Miss Kagay-an 2011 event, where Ms. Angel Carbajal emerged as the winner. This year marks another opportunity to select the new Miss Kagay-an 2011, making it a particularly thrilling year for the competition. The Limketkai Atrium was overflowing with supporters for the 12 charming candidates competing for the title. The event attracted a massive crowd, the largest seen in the past few years, with local socialites, officials, and notable figures from the fashion and beauty industry gracing the occasion. Among the judges were Ms. Philippines International 2010, Krista Kleiner, and the chairman of the board, Mama Rene Salud.
The pageant kicked off with a captivating performance by the M.U.S.T (Mindanao University of Science and Technology) choral group, who sang their rendition of “Ang Gaan-Gaan ng Feeling” and the heartfelt bisaya ballad “Usahay.” The 12 enchanting candidates took the stage in their stunning red gowns crafted by the talented designers from Oro Fashion Designers Guild (OFDG). As the night progressed in the icy atmosphere of Limketkai Atrium, Cagayan de Oro City, the temperature soared when the candidates showcased their swimwear, elegantly dressed in Coco Cabana swimsuits paired with stylish Gibi shoes.
At the end of the night pageant, only 1 will be crowned as the newest Miss Kagay-an 2011 and that is the 20-year-old Angel Carbajal of Brgy, Cugman.
