It’s another year of the KAAMULAN Festival. We did not notice that it is already 1 year since we last visit and witness the KAAMULAN Festival. Actually every year I’ve been there at Malaybalay Bukidnon to witness this event and it was started when I was in college. This festival is one of the few remaining festival in the Philippines which is not succumbed to gigantic commercialization. This festival is thanks given celebration and consider as yearly gathering of the seven tribes of bukidnon. And the 7 tribes are the Bukidnons, the Tigwahanon , the Umayammon, The Talaandig, The Higaonons and the Manobo. Take a look some pictures below that taken.
This is some info that we gather when we visit the festival. We enjoy this festival every year that we’ve been there. Just like other festival they have also a street dancing for every tribe. The street dancing was start around 7 o’clock in the morning and it was finish around 1 o’clock in the afternoon. It is another great month of Travels and Tours to witness this event happened at Malaybalay Bukidnon.
