1st Day at Camiguin Island (PANAAD 2009)

I would like to share our Travel and experienced during our trip in Camiguin Island. We decided to visit Camiguin Island for our PANAAD 2009.

Through the help of Paras Sea Cat, we arrived Camiguin at almost 10:00 am. We decided to ride the Paras Sea Cat as our transportation for some reasons, 1^st, we would like to arrive at Camiguin as early as we can, 2^nd, to avoid the crowded place. The fare of Paras Sea Cat is 400 pesos while the travel time from Cagayan de Oro to Camiguin is around 2 hours compared to travel Via Balingoan. Upon arrival at Camiguin, we went to High Land Resort for our reservation and we only stayed just a couple of hours.

We swam their swimming pool, ordered food and enjoy the natures around the resort. I can recommend this resort for those people who are a nature lover and to those people who would like the peace of mind. The food of High Land Resort is not recommended base on experienced. We did not like the food and the way they treat their customers. After enjoying their pool we proceed to our next destination, the Katibawasan Falls which is one of the popular falls in Camiguin. We enjoy the water which is very cold and relaxing. I think this place is a virgin forest because it’s green surroundings and clean.

After enjoying the cold and nice nature of Katibawasan falls, our next destination is the Hot Spring of Ardent. We spent 2-3 hours at Ardent which we really enjoyed. After our trip, we go back to High Land Resort to get our things and we stay near Paras Resort because our nest destination on the next day will be near in that place.
