Conquering New Heights at Dahilayan Adventure Park
After a month of volunteering and relief operations for the survivors of Typhoon Sendong, your Travel Ta Bai Guide, along with fellow bloggers, decided to unwind and recharge at Dahilayan Adventure Park. It had been three years since our last visit to this incredible park in Bukidnon, where we had the thrill of conquering Asia’s longest dual-cable zip line. I had missed not only the crisp, cold weather but also the stunning attractions and exhilarating adventures that Dahilayan has to offer.
Upon our arrival, Sir Benjie Paras graciously showed us around the park, highlighting new developments and attractions. One of the must-see spots is the Dahilayan Garden, a serene and picturesque area that adds a touch of tranquility amidst the excitement.
The highlight of our visit, however, was the introduction of the park’s latest heart-pounding attraction: the Drop Zone. This new edition promises a 120-foot high drop, and if you recall, I had previously teased this thrilling ride in an earlier post.
For those seeking an extreme adventure or an adrenaline rush, the Drop Zone is the perfect challenge. The unique aspect of this ride is that you are the one who pulls the “trigger” to drop, making the experience even more intense. If you hesitate, you’ll find yourself suspended 120 feet above the ground, contemplating the breathtaking view and the imminent plunge.
Though the Drop Zone was not yet open to the public, Mr. Elpie invited us to try it out. With a mix of excitement and trepidation, I volunteered to experience the Drop Zone firsthand. The ride will cost only PHP 500 when it opens to the public, a small price for such an unforgettable adventure. Despite the noisy background in the video I captured, I am confident you will appreciate the thrill and the views it offers.
So, if you think you dare to face the 120-foot drop, make sure to try the Drop Zone at Dahilayan Adventure Park. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
You must try this..:-)
